Itinerary

Day 1: leaving

We were flying from Bucharest to Oslo in the morning. We rent a car at the airport and then drive west to the Hardangerfjord (approx. 5 hours) where we will stay.

Day 2: Trolltunga

Hiking on the Trolltunga - perhaps the most spectacular rock formation in Norway. The rock is projected 700 m above the Ringedalsvatnet lake.

Day 3: Naerfjord

We head north to Naerofjord. Since 2005 inscribed on the UNESCO list of natural monuments, it is one of the most spectacular fjords in Norway. What could be more beautiful than admiring its kayak landscapes ?!

Day 4: Calvsnesnosi

After seeing the fjord from the "thread" of the water, it's time to see it from above, from the top of Kalvsnesnosi, from over 1000m.

Day 5: Ghetarul Nigardsbreen

Keeping the north direction, we change the landscape from the luster of the fjords to the white of the glaciers. Nigardsbreen is an arm of the largest glacier in continental Europe. We will walk on the glacier and around it and we will enjoy the special landscapes. At the end of the day we head to Alesund, a typical coastal town for Norway.

Day 6: Via ferrata

After visiting the Alesund, we head along the fjord to Loen, where we will follow an excellent via ferrata route.

Day 7: Troll Wall

It's a busy day. We hike in the area of the famous climbing wall in Norway. Moreover, we go along the Romsdalssegen ridge for the fantastic landscapes we have on the fjords.

Day 8: Creasta Bessegen

We are moving to the upper part of Norway, respectively to the Jotunheimen national park. Here we will follow a spectacular route: the Bessegen ridge. To get to the starting point of the route, we will have to take a small ferry. The narrow ridge allows us to constantly have the view of the lakes below us.

Day 9: Oslo

It's the day we return to Oslo. If the next day's flight allows us, we will spend the evening in Oslo.

Day 10: The return

We return to Bucharest.

We are a small business based in Bucharest dedicated to creating unexpected beautiful outdoor experiences. We go up the mountains in any possible way (hiking, biking, climbing, skiing), in any season (warm or cold, with snow or without), on any possible terrain (slopes, walls, canyons, river valleys) and on any level of difficulty. You choose, We go!

For us, the MOUNTAIN is – no matter how you choose to approach it (in summer or winter, riding a bike, hiking, on skis or climbing) – : the landscape we just don’t get enough, the arena where we challenge ourselves, it is the way we learn geography, it is the risky environment we are sometimes afraid of and the maker of the will, it forges both our social and personal experience. Mountain is, first of all, passion. And, like all passions, it continuously transform ourselves into something better, or so we would like to believe. Alpine Adventure Romania is an invitation to you to discover probably the most unknown outdoor gem of Europe. Alpine Adventure Romania is not about us…IT IS ABOUT YOU AND YOUR EXPERIENCES.

Here are the guiding principles of Alpine Adventure Romania:

  • We always do our best that each tour is at top quality for each participant.
  • We do our best for your safety.
  • We are humans on the mountains.
  • We fully adhere to the standards set in the International Adventure Travel Guide Qualification and Performance Standard, and we endorsed them by officially signing the guide.
