What's this trip about?

This tour combines two of Kenya’s most famous wildlife areas: alkaline Lake Nakuru in the Great Rift Valley, whose surface is often obscured by flocks of pink flamingo, and the game-rich plains of the Masai Mara. From July to September, the Mara plays host to huge herds of wildebeest and zebra, which migrate from the Serengeti down south. Yet the rest of the year still offers fabulous gameviewing as there are plenty of resident game on these plains, from lion to cheetah. Take in spectacular views of the Great Rift Valley and pass by scenic Lake Naivasha as you travel. The park surrounding Lake Nakuru is also of interest, with populations of rhino, leopard and buffalo.
