Day 10: Ulaanbaatar

Meals:Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, capital of Mongolia, this morning. Explore the seat of Buddhist activity for the region, Gandan Monastery, which houses over 500 monks, along with Sukhbaatar Square, Gorkhi-Terelj National Park and the National Museum. Visit a local nomadic family and explore a ger – the traditional dwelling of the nomads.

Day 11-13: Onboard the Golden Eagle Luxury, Trans-Siberian Railway

Meals:3 Breakfasts, 3 Lunches and 3 Dinners

Spend the next three days aboard the Golden Eagle train at a leisurely pace through the beautiful landscape of the Russian Far East. Attend lectures aboard the train or brush up on your Russian language skills as you pass the Shilka and Amur rivers close to the Chinese border. Pass through Khabarovsk and enjoy your final day aboard the train.

Day 14: Vladivostok

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Arrive today in Vladivostok after a nearly 6,600-mile-journey. Explore the military port, home to the Russian Navy’s Pacific Fleet on the shores of the Sea of Japan.

Day 15: Departure

Following breakfast, you will be transferred to Vladivostok Airport to begin your journey.
