We start early a long, slow ascent to the pass at Tizi Likemt (3555m). At the top we enjoy our first amazing view of the Toubkal Massif before a long downhill descent to the village of Azib Likemt (2200m), where we set up our camp for the night. 5 hours local gite in Azib Likemt or tents.

This day is a long but easy day, passing by many different landscapes. From Tizi 'n Ououraine (3120m) we enjoy further views of the Toubkal Massif, including the summit, the east face and the Ifni Dome (3876m). The trail leads towards Amsouzert (1700m), one of the most striking villages in the region. 6 hours local gite in Amsouzert.

Rug & Rock is an exciting company founded by and for enthusiastic travellers from a variety of different backgrounds. We have many years experience of adventure travel, mountaineering and sport and most of us have also taken part in social projects overseas, especially in Morocco.
Our people love sport and nature, rock climbing, kayaking, hiking and trekking through the most remote places and exploring the unexplored. During this time we have been lucky enough to share experiences with local communities, and to respectfully participate in their everyday lives.
It was here we first experienced the value of sustainable small-group travelling, as opposed to traditional holidays, as a tool for transformation and development.
