Our Story

Founded in Toronto, Canada, in 1976 as a niche Asia travel wholesaler, Tour East was one of the first few to offer tours to China after a long period of being closed off to but a few select foreign visitors. The Tour East Group has grown from its humble beginnings out of a small office in Toronto’s downtown core to one of North America’s largest travel providers with offices across Canada, as well as in New York. With an array of exotic travel experiences in the Far East, Indian sub-continent, Middle East, and Africa, Tour East has made its mark with a reputation for quality, customer service, and highly customizable travel planning.
